I thought I'd make a list of all the basic things to introduce myself. But here's more about me and what I'm going to be blogging about ~

As of April 1, 2013 I am officially a Congress-Bundestag Youth Exchange scholarship recipient. If you don't know what that is then feel free to click the link at the top of my blog that says CBYX. In short, it's a scholarship that will let me spend a year as a foreign exchange student in Germany. The goal of this exchange is for me to become an American ambassador while I get to know their culture. I'm very excited to be spending a year in Germany and I know it will be year of many "firsts." (I have never been in snow. I'm so excited!)
